The Practice Bots feature is currently in development. This upcoming addition will introduce a series of customizable training bots designed to emulate different playing styles, strengths, and strategic preferences.

Once available, this feature will allow you to:

  • + Choose from bots with unique personalities — tactical, positional, defensive, or aggressive
  • + Adjust difficulty and strength levels to match your current skill or training goals
  • + Practice your repertoire against AI opponents that simulate real human styles
  • + Explore how different styles respond to the same position and refine your decision-making
  • + Create custom bots based on your own repertoires or other personalized characteristics — such as preferred openings, move timings, or evaluation tendencies

Note: Practice Bots are an experimental feature under active development. Future versions will expand this system to include user-created bots built directly from your repertoires and other analytical data sources within Chessboard Magic. They will become available in upcoming updates of the Practice module.
