Dossier Details

When you open a Dossier, you will be taken to the Dossier Profile. This provides a central overview of your preparation against the opponent, bringing together your notes, important games, analysis, matched games, and the different player profiles associated with the Dossier.

The Dossier Profile enables you to:

• + Add a Profile Description: Add a general description or summary for the opponent and record the key information you want to remember about them
• + Add Notes: Record individual notes about the opponent. Notes can also be linked to an imported game or an individual chess position, allowing you to build a concise and organised summary of your preparation
• + Review Key Games: View games that you have highlighted as particularly important for understanding or preparing against the opponent
• + Review Your Analysis: Access analysis that you have created or imported specifically for this opponent
• + Review Matched Games: See imported games where you have previously played against the Dossier opponent
• + View Player Profiles: The right-hand side of the profile displays the different player profiles associated with the opponent, giving you a quick overview of the identities linked to the Dossier

The Dossier menu provides access to the different areas used to investigate, prepare for, and review the opponent:

• + User Games: Import games played by the opponent and explore the games that have already been added to the Dossier
• + Opening Tree: Explore the moves and variations the opponent plays with both White and Black, helping you understand their usual opening choices and where they tend to deviate
• + Opening Explorer: Visually explore the opponent's opening choices using an interactive board, allowing you to move through their repertoire of played positions and continuations
• + Opening Statistics: View a statistical breakdown of the opponent's opening choices, results, and performance
• + Opponent Prep: Review automated insights generated from the opponent's games to surface patterns, tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas to target
• + Practice: Play against the opponent using their imported games and playing tendencies as a reference, allowing you to practise the types of positions and moves you may encounter
• + Key Games: Manage the games you have highlighted as particularly important for your preparation
• + Analysis: Create, import, and manage your own analysis for the opponent so that important preparation can be stored and reviewed later

Your preparation hub: The Dossier Profile acts as the central summary for your opponent preparation. Use the menu to move between games, opening analysis, statistics, automated insights, practice, key games, and your own analysis.
